A free monthly forum for young adults, parents and families questioning or struggling with a diagnosis of post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or complex post traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD).
Approximately 5.2 million US adults struggle with post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD and C-PTSD) on a yearly basis. Many of these people try to cope with the symptoms by denying, minimizing, justifying, and isolating, often in conjunction with self-medicating. But what if you could learn to open yourself to your symptoms instead of close? What if you could work with PTSD by becoming curious, even friendly, towards your symptoms? What if you could somehow turn the symptoms into growth and evolution? Dr. Parker Wilson is a doctor of clinical psychology, and an expert in the union of modern psychotherapy and Buddhist psychology and meditation. Join Dr. Wilson for a free forum on Saturday 5.20.17 at 2:00pm MST at the Awakened Mind Institute. Seating is limited, RSVP Is Required.
